“I was just sitting there and I heard somebody kind of yell, ‘Is there a doctor on the plane?'” Andrews recalled. “I kind of looked around and I was like, ‘I’m not a doctor, but I’m in the medical field. I can help out.'”
Andrews wasted no time and rushed to the passenger’s aid, providing immediate assistance until the flight attendants could take over. The incident left everyone on board in awe of Andrews’ quick thinking and selflessness.
Andrew Springs, another passenger on the flight, was so impressed by Andrews’ heroic actions that he shared the story on social media. Springs praised the NFL star for his bravery and willingness to step up in a time of need.
“It was really cool to see someone in his position do something like that,” Springs wrote. “He didn’t have to, but he did. It was really awesome.”
