‘No contest’ between Trump and Harris on economy: Tiana Lowe Doescher – Washington Examiner
The article discusses a recent commentary by Tiana Lowe Doescher from the Washington Examiner, who argues that former President Donald Trump is more favorable for the economy compared to Vice President Kamala Harris. Doescher references CNBC’s Jim Cramer, who stated that “if you care about your paycheck, you go with Trump.” She emphasizes the contrast between Trump’s economic record during his four years in office and the performance of the Biden-Harris administration over the past three and a half years, asserting that there is “no contest” between them in terms of economic outcomes. The piece highlights the ongoing debate about economic leadership and performance in the context of the upcoming presidential elections.
‘No contest’ between Trump and Harris on economy: Tiana Lowe Doescher
There is “no contest” when it comes to the fact that former President Donald Trump is better for the economy than Vice President Kamala Harris, Washington Examiner Commentary Writer Tiana Lowe Doescher said.
“He’s not wrong at all,” Doescher told Fox News’s Fox News at Night following CNBC’s Jim Cramer’s Monday declaration that “if you care about your paycheck, you go with Trump.”
“There’s no contest between Trump’s record for four years and the Biden-Harris record of 3 1/2 years in terms of real returns,” she said.
Since the pair took office, a 5% loss of weekly average wages has hindered the Biden-Harris administration, and Harris frequently points out she is always the last person in the room for all major decisions, according to Doescher.
“That’s why the media is covering for her not wanting to do a debate,” she said. “The last time Donald Trump debated the Democratic presidential nominee de facto, he ended his career.”
“Kamala Harris knows she just has to make it a couple more weeks until early voting starts, hope that the rest of the progressive corporate media covers her, and that she’s never actually questioned,” she added.
