Report: Alarming Milestone Reached in Identifying Illegal Aliens as National Security Threat
A Terrifying Milestone: Thousands of Illegal Immigrants Pose National Security Risks
A new report has revealed a shocking increase in the number of illegal immigrants who could potentially pose a threat to national security. Over the past 10 months, a staggering 74,904 individuals known as “special interest aliens” have crossed into America, according to Customs and Border Protection data cited by the Daily Caller.
This figure is alarmingly high compared to the total of 3,675 in the previous fiscal year of 2021, and it also surpasses the 25,627 encountered in the 2022 fiscal year. These “special interest aliens” come from regions where there may be a potential connection to terrorism or where suspicious activities frequently occur.
For instance, the FBI is currently searching for around a dozen illegal immigrants from Uzbekistan who were brought into the country by a smuggler linked to the Islamic State. Uzbekistan is one of the nations on the list of concern.
While the FBI has not identified any specific terrorism plots associated with these recent entries, the release of these “special interest aliens” poses a significant security risk, as stated by former acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan.
“So why is it so important to track them down? Because they’re freaking special interest aliens that were smuggled in by somebody with connections to terrorism,” Morgan said.
“Come on, guys. Follow the bouncing ball. I mean, the reason it’s so important is twofold. One, they actually were connected to someone who is connected to a terrorist organization and [two], they’re special interest aliens,” Morgan said.
In addition to the rise in “special interest aliens,” there has also been an increase in the number of individuals on the terror watch list attempting to enter the country. So far this fiscal year, 149 individuals on the watch list have been intercepted, compared to 98 in the previous year and just 16 in the year before that.
Former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott warns that an open border allows for significant real threats to enter the country. He emphasizes that the current administration’s focus on economic migrants and a supposedly kinder migration policy puts the entire nation at risk, as well as the millions of migrants who fall into the hands of cartels for trafficking.
“Unfortunately, all the current administration wants to focus on as an economic migrants and trying to say that they have a kinder, gentler migration policy, but they’re putting the entire Nation at Risk, as well as the millions of migrants that are handed to the cartels to be trafficked across the border,” Scott said.
Scott reveals that most “special interest aliens” are processed and released into the United States unless they are flagged for derogatory information. This overreliance on potentially outdated and incomplete global databases poses a significant vulnerability.
“It basically means that they’re going to be processed, set up for a hearing in the future and released into the United States. We overly rely on the United States to have by current and valid information people that are global database, and that does not exist,” he said.
“Anybody that doesn’t think that serious threats to this country are sneaking in right now is naïve,” Scott said.
This alarming report serves as a stark reminder that the number of illegal immigrants who could potentially pose a national security risk is reaching a terrifying milestone. It is crucial to address this issue and ensure the safety and security of the nation.
