NYPD Commissioner criticized for anti-cop slogan on ‘Pride Month’ squad cars.
NYPD Commissioner Roasted After People Notice Anti-Cop Slogan Hidden on ‘Pride Month’ Squad Car Designs
June is Pride Month, and many organizations are showing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Recently, New York Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell tweeted her support for Pride Month, but it wasn’t just her message that caught people’s attention.
Happy Pride Month!
Over the years, @GOALny has demonstrated unwavering commitment to promoting universal acceptance and inclusion for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Their remarkable contributions to this city and the department defines New York’s Finest. pic.twitter.com/kixIY1z3bJ

Underneath the “Happy Pride Month” message on the NYPD cruiser, there was a line that read, “All Colors Are Beautiful.” While it’s a nice sentiment, some eagle-eyed NYPD fans noticed that the first letters of the words in the slogan spell out “ACAB,” which is an anti-cop slogan that has been used by left-wing activists for years.
Many people responded to Sewell’s tweet and pointed out the curious slogan:
I think I know what else that acronym on the bottom also means…. pic.twitter.com/pP09z7GoJX

So, did the NYPD get snookered by a left-wing, anti-cop designer who hid a long-used anti-cop slur in the NYPD’s “pride” paint job? Or did the designer purposefully use the ACAB acronym as an attempt to take the letters back and use them for a positive statement? Or, maybe it was just a complete, if maybe unfortunate, coincidence?
Regardless of the intention behind the slogan, it’s clear that working with far-left activists, even for a simple slogan, is never a good idea.
