The New York Times has once again received heat over allegations of a hostile work environment catering to a far-left agenda. During a recent podcast, former columnist for the Times, Bari Weiss,  said she was subjected to bullying and harassment in the newsroom over her political views.

She described the outlet as being run by activist journalists and compared the toxic work environment to a high school cafeteria. In statements mirroring her resignation letter from last year, Weiss reiterated she was called a Nazi and a racist by her co-workers. Weiss, who is Jewish, claimed editors and staff criticized her for writing about Israel and Jewish affairs.

The journalist went on explain why she made the decision to resign from her former employer by describing the Time as an environment that provokes polarization and distrust.

“I, like a growing number for journalists, did not want to participate for another day in a project that was betraying my values,” she explained. “…The transformation of the Times is part of a much, much bigger story.”

Weiss went on to accuse editors of the Times for living in total fear of internet mobs and cancel culture while advancing far-left agenda.
