A source close to Johnson said, “Obama spent a decent amount of time giving advice about raising a family with young kids while holding executive office.”
“Obama made a general offer of assistance and support as Johnson takes office,” the source added.
Johnson, along with his wife Stacie, has two boys, 15-year-old Owen and 10-year-old Ethan, and an 8-year-old daughter Braedyn.
The mayor-elect’s young children will be raised in the political spotlight, and former First Lady Michelle Obama, who also hails from Chicago, has shared on raising the couple’s daughters Malia and Sasha while Obama held office.
