‘Oh, My Goodness’: Peter Doocy Catches Karine Jean-Pierre Off-Guard With Classified Docs Question
Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy got a surprised laugh out of Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre during Monday’s briefing, catching her off-guard with an outside-the-box question.
Doocy, like many others in the White House Press Corps, asked about President Joe Biden and the classified documents that just keep appearing in different locations — but he took a very different approach.

“When you found out that the FBI located even more classified materials in Wilmington, which four-letter word did you use?” Doocy asked.
Jean-Pierre, who was laughing with others in the same room, responded, “Oh, my goodness, Peter.”
“You can’t say?” Doocy asked. “Okay.”
A number of reporters — including Doocy — have repeatedly pressed Jean-Pierre on the documents: what they pertain to; whether or not there might be more in other locations; whether or not Biden was aware they were in his possession.
But Doocy’s question on Monday appeared to be a jab at the Biden administration’s earlier claim that all classified materials had been found and turned over to the proper authorities — a claim that was proven false a day later when more documents were found in Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, home.
Jean-Pierre repeated the White House counsel’s claim to reporters the Friday before the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday — and on Tuesday, after more documents were found on Saturday, she had to field questions from reporters who pointed out that she had shared false information.
“Do you feel badly that you gave out false information?” James Rosen, Newsmax Chief White House Correspondent asked the question during the briefing. He didn’t get an answer.
NPR’s Tamara Keith took a similar tack, asking, “Are you upset that you came out to this podium on Friday with incomplete and inaccurate information? And are you concerned that it affects your credibility up here?”
Rosen tried again after the briefing ended. “You told us something six times that turned out to be false. Are you sorry about that?”
