An Ohio mother received over $100,000 in donations to buy a home after being arrested for leaving her kids alone to go to work.
A GoFundMe page for 24-year-old Shaina Bell reached over $152,000 on Saturday, surpassing the original goal of $5,000. Bell was arrested last week for leaving her 10 and 2-year-old daughters in a motel room while she went to work.
A mom in Ohio was arrested for leaving her 2 kids at a motel as she worked to support them. Shaina Bell said she arranged for hourly checks on them. She faces up to 6 months in jail for alleged child endangerment.

The 24-year-old said she didn’t have anybody to watch her kids, but asked someone to check on them every hour.
She is facing two misdemeanor charges of endangering children.
“A lot of people are saying hurtful things, but a lot of people are also being there for me and showing great support,” Bell said. “I have over $100,000 in a GoFundMe account right now. I didn’t ask for that, but people gave it to me, and I’m just over appreciative to what’s going on.”
Bell said she plans to use the money to buy a house for her children to live in.
