Olivia Newton-John’s Daughter Shares The Touching Last Words Her Mom Said To Her
Olivia Newton-John’s daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, revealed the final touching words her mom said to her before she died in August following a lengthy battle with cancer.
During her appearance at the “Today” Show Lattanzi, who was emotional speaking about her mother in a Friday video, said: “Grease” Star was still making jokes until her final breath. It was her first interview since her mom’s death.
“The last words she could say to me was, ‘My sunshine,’” Lattanzi shared. “And right before she lost her ability to speak, she was making jokes.”

“I love my mom more than anything,” she added, before getting choked up. “She’You know, my mama. She’s not Olivia Newton-John to me, but I’m so glad that she was Olivia Newton-John for so many people.”
She also said all the support she’s gotten from fans has been like a “big hug” From the universe.
“It actually has been a life raft,” Chloe shared. “It has felt like a big hug from the universe. And I’m very grateful for all of the people who reached out to us and extended their heart and their connection.”
John Easterling, Newton-John’s widower, also opened up in the same interview about the late star.
“Every day, I miss Olivia terribly,” Easterlings shared. “And yet every day I’m really super grateful that I had 15 wonderful years with this extraordinary human being.”
The “Xanadu” star’s widower said he still feels his wife close and finds himself talking with her in the wee hours of the morning.
“A guy I was flying with said, ‘You know, John, when you’re lucky enough to have found your true soulmate, and you share a heart, when one passes, the other has the obligation to live life for both,’” John shared. “And that was very empowering and very powerful for me, and gave a way forward.”
Newton-John was diagnosed with cancer in 1992. He beat the disease. It returned in 2013, and was remitted. The cancer came back again in 2017. Celebrities paid tribute to Newton-John in loving tributes after the news of her passing. reported.
