Poison.org provides tips for dealing with chlorine dangers in pools. When chlorine mixes with compounds from swimmers, it creates chloramines, which can cause skin and eye irritation. The site also warns about the respiratory tract irritation caused by chloramine gas. Indoor pools pose a higher risk due to limited ventilation.
