In a tragic incident that unfolded on September 10, a man was shot and killed at a gas station in Santa Ana, California. The police are currently on the lookout for two suspects believed to be involved in this gang-related attack.
The victim, Angel Fregoso, 31, from Santa Ana, was shot while he and a female acquaintance were preparing to leave the Mobil station located at 1465 S. Main St. The Santa Ana Police Department received a distress call reporting gunshots at 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, according to Officer Natalie Garcia, the police spokesperson.
As Mr. Fregoso and the woman were about to drive away, they were approached by a gunman accompanied by another suspect. The assailants inquired about their gang affiliation before opening fire, Officer Garcia revealed.
