OpenAI Unleashes New AI Model GPT-4, Which Can Pass Academic Exams, Program Software, And Even Do Taxes

Artificial intelligence OpenAI, a software company that specializes in development, has released GPT-4. This is its latest AI language model and it offers a wide range of new capabilities.

In a Press release OpenAI announced the rollout GPT-4 Tuesday. The company claimed that although GPT-4 is still behind humans in real-world situations, it can be a great tool for academic and theoretical applications. OpenAI demonstrated the software’s ability to solve problems and recognize images. The company also created a working website and did simulated taxes.

OpenAI’s first release discussed the improvements in problem solving made to GPT-4 over its predecessor, GPT-3. OpenAI presented a table of professional and academic exams and the scores that the software received to demonstrate these new capabilities. The AI scored:

  • Unified Bar Exam Score: 298/400, which was in 90th percentile.
  • A 163 on LSAT, in the 85th percentile.
  • A 710 on reading and writing SAT. The 93rd percentile
  • A 700 on the math SAT is the 89th percentile
  • A 169 on verbal GRE in the 99th Percentile
  • A 5 on the AP Art History (Biology, Macro- and Microeconomics), Psychology, Statistics, US Government and US History exams

Developer LivestreamGreg Brockman, OpenAI President, discussed the new features in the latest software. GPT-4 now has a prompt that allows users to enter new parameters to the AI so it can improve its model. Brockman demonstrated the capability by using some basic prompts. Brockman summed up the OpenAI press release and put it into a sentence. “GPT-4 generates groundbreaking, grandiose gains, greatly galvanizing generalized AI goals.”

Brockman pointed out, “AI doesn’t count,” GPT-4 has created a new sentence “Gigantic GPT-4 garners groundbreaking growth, greatly galvanizing global goals.” The software could create similar sentences by using A’s and Q’s.

Brockman next experimented using GPT-4’s “vision model.” The AI developed a Discord chatbot which could analyze and explain images that were posted to the chat. Brockman asked the bot to describe an image from the Discord channel. The bot replied with detailed descriptions of the image, along with the Discord layout, and any messages. The bot also described another image of a snowboarder riding on an alien planet and a cartoon showing a squirrel with a camera.

Brockman then uploaded a picture of a hand-drawn joke web site. The AI-built Discord bot was then able to recognize Brockman’s drawing and write Javascript code for a website with jokes. There is also a button that can be pushed to reveal the punchline.

Brockman demonstrated that GPT-4 can do simulated tax. He used a system prompt that he nicknamed “TaxGPT,” ChatGPT was prompt to calculate 2018 taxes for a married couple and their one-child. The software was able calculate the standard deduction for the family and the estimated tax liability using the tax code.

OpenAI stated that the model is not yet at its full potential. OpenAI stated in a press release that system messages are the best way to communicate. “jailbreak” The AI is free from its borders, as the viral meme demonstrates. “DAN” For example; The model is still available. “hallucinates,” Making it up Facts that don’t exist are misleading and can lead to reasoning errors. Experts are also being used by the company to help reduce “Unsafe adviceIt said, “Buggy code, inaccurate information”
