Attorney General Pam Bondi praised the security measures being implemented for the upcoming Super Bowl in New Orleans, stating that officials are ”crushing it.” She highlighted the collaborative efforts of various agencies,including Homeland Security,ATF,DEA,and FBI,in readiness for the event. Bondi met with local law enforcement and expressed confidence in their readiness to ensure safety for the expected 70,000 attendees as the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem also reassured that every resource will be available to law enforcement,emphasizing that the event will be safe and enjoyable.Additionally, it was noted that President Donald Trump is set to be the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, marking a significant moment for the occasion.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said officials and agencies leading security measures for Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans are “crushing it.”
“Kristi Noem with Homeland Security has done a great job working in conjunction with our ATF agents, our DEA agents, our FBI agents getting ready for the Super Bowl,” Bondi told Sean Hannity of Fox News.
Bondi met with over 30 members of local law enforcement ahead of the game, and she said they are ready.
“They are prepared for the Super Bowl,” Bondi said. “Cathy Lanier with the NFL, they are crushing it out there, and they are going to keep New Orleans and Louisiana safe, and I’m proud to be a part of that.”
More than 70,000 people are expected to be in attendance when the Kansas City Chiefs attempt to claim their third straight championship win against the Philadelphia Eagles. The federal government is offering every resource to make sure attendees are safe, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem posted to X.

“This is going to be a safe event,” Noem said in a video from the field at Caesars Superdome. “It’s going to be a fun event, and everybody that enters this building is a great American.”
President Donald Trump is also set to become the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl.
Trump is a football fan and has attended multiple college football games, including the 2024 Army-Navy game and a matchup between the New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers following his famed McDonald’s shift during the 2024 campaign.
