Parts of California out of Drought After Recent Rain, Snow
A map by the CDC released on March 2 shows that several areas are no longer in drought, or at least less dry after California was flooded with storms over the last 10 days. U.S. Drought Monitor.
Before this week, California was all in “extreme drought” Some areas are deemed inadmissible “exceptional drought.”
Del Norte County is currently under drought.
The drought conditions in Tuolumne County and Mariposa County, as well as much of Monterey County, are now mild and not severe.
