Patel hastily deletes post announcing arrest of Milwaukee judge

Kash Patel, an FBI Director, announced the arrest of Milwaukee judge Hannah Dugan on obstruction charges following her alleged actions that helped an illegal immigrant avoid deportation by misdirecting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers during an arrest operation. The declaration was made via a post that was later deleted about 30 minutes after it was published, which generated some confusion.According to the details, Judge Dugan allegedly obstructed the arrest of an individual named Eduardo Flores Ruiz, enabling him to evade capture temporarily. The incident prompted an FBI investigation, and it was confirmed that Judge Dugan was arrested in the morning in Milwaukee. But he sparked confusion when he deleted the announcement approximately 30 minutes later.
In the now-deleted post, Patel said:

“Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week. We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest. Thankfully our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public.” Patel also teased additional information to come.

The ICE agents came to the courthouse on April 18 with a warrant for the arrest of an illegal immigrant, and the FBI opened an investigation into whether Dugan helped the illegal immigrant avoid arrest, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported earlier this week. The outlet also reported on Friday that the Marshals Service confirmed to them Dugan had been arrested at 8 a.m. local time in Milwaukee.

The Washington Examiner has reached out to the FBI and the Justice Department regarding the alleged arrest of Dugan and her case.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
