‘Pawn Stars’ Star Corey ‘Big Hoss’ Harrison Arrested
A Star of ”Pawn Stars” Arrested for DUI in Las Vegas
A star of the popular reality show “Pawn Stars” has found himself in trouble with the law. Richard Corey Harrison, known as “Big Hoss” on the show, was arrested in Las Vegas on a DUI charge.
The incident occurred on September 8, when Harrison was pulled over by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. According to KLAS-TV, Harrison’s white Ford pickup truck was seen “veering” between lanes on the highway.
The arrest report stated that Harrison’s eyes were bloodshot, watery, and droopy, and he had a blank stare. The truck also smelled of alcohol. The police conducted a field sobriety test and requested a blood or breath sample from Harrison.
Despite initially considering asking for his lawyer, Harrison eventually agreed to provide a blood sample. His driver’s license was revoked, and he spoke to the Las Vegas Review-Journal about the incident.
“I suck at playing Simon Says,” Harrison said, referring to the field sobriety test. “You’re obviously nervous every time you get pulled over. It’s not a normal thing for me. It’s, stand on this leg, stand on that leg, walk in a straight line. I felt I passed it. But the test is meant for you to fail, no matter what.”
Harrison expressed frustration with the lack of a breathalyzer during the incident and stated that he would be hiring an attorney to contest the charges. He emphasized that he does not condone drinking and driving but believes in fighting back when faced with unfair treatment.
According to Harrison, he had just returned to Las Vegas after filming an episode of “Pawn Stars Do America” in Minnesota.
