Pennsylvania Police Chief Killed, and another Officer Injured in Shootout
A Pennsylvania Brackenridge, Pennsylvania shootout saw the police chief killed and another officer injured.
“Sources tell @KDKA #Brackenridge Police Chief McIntire was shot and killed in this shooting, another officer was injured,” reporter Lauren Linder tweeted.

Justin McIntire (police chief since 2018) died instantly, while the other officer sustained a gunshot to the leg. KDKA reported. The suspect, who was also shot in the shootout was able to escape after he carjacked a car. A manhunt ensued.
Police release a “be on the lookout” Alert for a 2014 silver Subaru Legacy, with license plate GMA8620. The suspect took it.
Just before 7 p.m., police told Channel 11 News that they had captured the suspect in the shooting.
