Philadelphia influencer faces 6 felony charges after challenging police during looting, sheds tears.

A Social Media Personality Faces ⁣the Consequences After Inciting Looting ⁢and Rioting‍ in Philadelphia

A social media personality, known as “Meatball,” who⁢ boldly dared the police to ⁤arrest her while enthusiastically encouraging looting and rioting in Philadelphia, found herself ‌in tears when she⁢ was charged‍ with six felonies.

Dayjia Blackwell, also known as “Meatball,” was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, riot, conspiracy, criminal use of a ⁣communication facility, and⁤ criminal⁢ mischief, as reported by‌ the New York Post.

In addition, she faced two misdemeanor charges of receipt of stolen property and ⁢disorderly conduct, according to WTXF-TV.

Blackwell’s tearful mug shot was a stark contrast to her arrogant behavior on Tuesday night when she live-streamed herself encouraging and participating in‌ the mass looting.

At ‌one point, she defiantly looked into her camera and challenged the police to arrest her.

“Tell the police they’re either gonna ‌lock me‌ up tonight, or it’s gonna get lit,” she taunted, according to the Post. “This is what happens when we don’t⁣ get justice in this city.”

The looting was a reckless response to a judge’s decision earlier that day to dismiss all charges against a police officer who had fatally shot a black driver, Eddie Irizarry, during a traffic stop. The judge ruled that the officer had acted in self-defense.

Unsurprisingly, opportunistic criminals used this case as an excuse to commit crimes.

Blackwell’s video showed a mob of looters⁤ breaking into an⁣ Apple store and stealing phones and tablets, as reported by the Post.

“Free iPhones! Free iPhones!” she yelled.

Several other businesses, including Foot Locker, Lululemon, and liquor stores, were also targeted and looted.

WARNING: The following video contains language that some viewers will find offensive.

John Stanford, Philadelphia’s interim police commissioner, stated that 52 people were⁢ arrested on Tuesday ⁢night.

He also pointed out that “Meatball” played a significant role in⁣ inciting the looting.

“She may be responsible for ⁢a lot of other people being ⁤arrested because she encouraged those folks, and ⁤they were, quite frankly, foolish enough to engage and participate. There will be consequences for that,” Stanford ⁤told WCAU-TV.

Mayor Jim Kenney also held Blackwell accountable for ⁤the chaos,⁢ stating that she “livestreamed the whole⁢ thing…⁤ and essentially incited the riot,” ⁤in an interview with WCAU.

Despite⁢ the arrests, the looting continued for a ⁤second night on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, “Meatball” faced ridicule on social media for her gloomy mugshot, with one commenter even coming ⁢up with the nickname “Meatbawl” for her.

Unfortunately, Philadelphia is just one of⁤ many once-great cities plagued by crime due to destructive left-wing policies.

The consequences of Blackwell’s actions were swift. As soon as her livestream went viral, social ⁣media users began identifying her and reporting her to the authorities.

Philadelphia Police Department Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said ⁤in a statement, “This type of behavior will not be tolerated. We will do everything we can to identify ⁤and ⁣apprehend those responsible for ⁣these crimes.”

It⁤ is⁤ important to note that while social media can be a powerful tool for sharing information and organizing movements, it can also be misused⁢ and manipulated by individuals looking to incite violence and unrest.

In this case, Blackwell used her platform to not only amplify the anger and frustration felt by many members of the community but also to encourage illegal activities that resulted in significant property damage and loss for business⁢ owners and individuals.

Actions like these not only undermine the legitimate protests and calls for justice but also create an unsafe environment for both ⁤law enforcement and⁢ innocent bystanders.

The consequences‌ faced by Blackwell serve as a reminder that inciting violence and participating in‍ unlawful activities will not go unpunished.

As social media continues to play⁣ a significant role in⁢ our daily lives, it is crucial for users to‌ exercise responsibility and consider the potential consequences of their actions.

Law enforcement agencies are increasingly using social media platforms to investigate and apprehend those involved in criminal activities, and video evidence shared⁤ online can be ‍critical in identifying and prosecuting individuals.

The events in Philadelphia are a sobering reminder ⁣of‍ the⁣ power and responsibility that comes with ⁢having a social media platform.

While social media personalities may ⁢have a large following and influence, it is essential for them to use their platform responsibly and avoid promoting or participating in illegal activities that can harm individuals and communities.

Ultimately, it is up to each individual to use social media as ‍a force ⁢for positive change and unity, rather than one that incites violence and division.

The consequences faced by Blackwell should serve‍ as a warning to those who seek ⁤to ⁢exploit social media for their‍ own personal gain ⁤or to further their own agenda at the expense of others.

By holding individuals accountable for their actions, we can strive to create a safer and more responsible online environment where the power of social media ‌is used for the greater good.
