Photos of Fetterman at Walter Reed released for first time since hospitalization

PImages of Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center His office released them on Monday. An aide said that he “will be back soon” In the third update, he was nearly three weeks later he checked himself into the hospital For treatment of his depression.

Fetterman is seen with his chief of staff Adam Jentleson in the photographs, sitting at a desk in a hospital and looking through documents.

“Productive morning with Senator Fetterman at Walter Reed discussing the rail safety legislation, Farm Bill and other Senate business,” Jentleson tweets “John is well on his way to recovery and wanted me to say how grateful he is for all the well wishes. He’s laser focused on PA & will be back soon.”

Walter Reed was the place where the senator sought treatment for his clinical depression. Since then, he has been in hospital and there have not been any update on when he can return to the Senate.

The senator’s spouse tweeted that her husband had died. “continues to challenge the conversation” after “society’s expectations and traditional gender roles play a part in why men are less likely to discuss or seek help for their mental health.”
