Politico’s Hit On Neil Gorsuch Is Another Transparent Attempt To Delegitimize SCOTUS

The left-wing Twittersphere is buzzing with excitement over Politico’s recent hit piece on Neil Gorsuch, but let’s be real: it’s just another transparent piece of partisan propaganda. Politico’s Heidi Przybyla starts off with a deceptive claim that Gorsuch sought a buyer for a property he co-owned for nearly two years while he was a Supreme Court justice. In reality, Gorsuch and a group of people had been trying to sell the property since 2015, before he was even nominated. And the sale was completely above board, with Gorsuch netting between $250,000 and $500,000.

But that doesn’t stop Przybyla from insinuating that Gorsuch was trying to conceal the transaction, even though it was listed on his publicly available federal disclosure form. And she conveniently leaves out the fact that Gorsuch was a member of the group that sold the property.

The piece also accuses Gorsuch of having a conflict of interest because the lawyer who bought the property has donated to Democrats. But there’s no evidence that Gorsuch has ever deviated from his legal philosophy to help anyone on any case.

It’s clear that this hit piece is just chum for partisans to swarm around. The only thing that matters to them is creating the perception that “conservative” justices are corrupt. But we know the truth: the Supreme Court is the one thing holding back the progressive project from completely trampling on our constitutional limits.
