The People’s Choice for Trump’s Potential Vice President
The latest numbers are in for who the people of America think Donald Trump will pick as his potential Vice President.
According to the I&I/TIPP’s national online poll, out of 14 potential candidates the top choice was Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), followed by former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (R-S.C.) and then entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
With the question to Republicans of who Trump’s potential running mate is, the response was overwhelmingly DeSantis, according to the data.
“DeSantis received 34% of the total votes cast on both questions, compared to 24% for Haley, 21% for Ramaswamy, 19% for Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), 17% for Ben Carson, 12% for TV personality and commentator Tucker Carlson and 10% for South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R-S.D.),” it added.
The poll comes after the Florida Governor backed out of the GOP race a few weeks ago as Trump continues to dominate the race to become the Republican nomination. Haley is the only one who remains running against Trump, but he currently is leading her by double digits.
Meanwhile, Trump has hinted that he may pick his running mate before the summer Republican National Convention. However, experts believe the 45th president will select either a woman or a Black person as his vice presidential nominee.
Additionally, insiders believe Trump is looking at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA.), Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-Ark.), and Rep. Elise Stefanik[R-NY)aspotentialpicksaswell[R-NY)aspotentialpicksaswell

The selection of a vice presidential nominee is an important decision for any presidential candidate. It can help to balance the ticket, bring diversity, and attract different voter groups. With the strong support for Governor Ron DeSantis in this poll, it suggests that many American people see him as a favorable choice to run alongside Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race.
The upcoming months will be crucial in determining who Trump ultimately selects as his running mate. As the Republican National Convention approaches, political analysts and voters alike will be eagerly awaiting the announcement.
