The survey also revealed that ‌15 percent believed Ramaswamy performed the ⁣best, while 10 percent thought​ he performed⁤ the worst. ‍Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) did‌ not elicit strong opinions either way. According to the poll, former​ New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and‍ former Vice ⁢President ​Mike Pence were considered the worst performers.

In a separate‍ focus group conducted by CNN in Iowa immediately after the debate, the majority‍ of participants agreed that DeSantis emerged as the‍ winner.

During the vote, nine people raised their hands ⁣in support of DeSantis, ⁢six for ​Haley, one for Burgum, ​and one for Ramaswamy. ⁤None voted for Christie, Pence, or Scott. When asked who had a bad‌ night, the consensus was Pence, with the moderator acknowledging the unanimous sentiment.
