Poll: Less Than Half Of Americans Support Shipping Our Weapons To Ukraine
As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine nears its one-year anniversary on Feb. 24, many Americans’ patience is wearing thin. New Poll According to the Associated Press/NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, American support for shipping arms and tax dollars to Ukraine is decreasing.
Now, less than half of Americans (48%) say they support the U.S. supplying weapons to Ukraine. 29% are opposed and 22% are not in favor. This is a drop from May 2022, when only three months had passed and 60 percent of U.S. adults supported sending weapons to Ukraine.
Americans are divided on whether they send cash. It is supported by 37%, 38%, and 23% respectively.

Americans want their Biden administration to be more focused on domestic issues. A majority of Americans want Biden to assist Ukraine. negotiate a peace settlement Russia.
