With less than two weeks until the election, current polls indicate a competitive race between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. During his appearance on Fox News’ *The Ingraham Angle*, Towery highlighted concerns about voter turnout in areas of North Carolina that suffered damage, suggesting that residents are highly motivated to vote due to their dissatisfaction. He also noted a notable shift in voting behavior in Michigan, with early voting showing increased support from both African American and blue-collar white voters for Trump. Towery believes these trends indicate that Trump could perform well in these key swing states.

Political pollster Matt Towery offered his prediction that the swing states of North Carolina, Georgia, and Michigan would go to former President Donald Trump based on recent surveys.
With two weeks until the election, most polls show Trump is nearly tied with Vice President Kamala Harris. Towery appeared on Fox News’s The Ingraham Angle on Tuesday to assess the unprecedented turnout among early voters.
“I had a lot of interest about whether they can get that area of North Carolina that was damaged so much, that western area, out to vote. But I’m told by people there they are going to crawl on their hands and knees to go vote. They are so upset. … Trump is looking pretty good at North Carolina,” Towery said. “Michigan is my upset special. About a million votes have been cast so far early vote. Again, that’s always questionable, but there seems to be a consistent move of African American votes and white voters, blue-collar voters to the Trump camp.”
The majority of these early voters in Michigan were over 65, while 28.6% were 41-65, 7.8% were 26-40, and 3.4% were 18-25. Women were the gender majority at 56.2%, men made up 43.6% of the early vote, and 0.2% unknown.
“The overall vote in Georgia is down by 6%. But the early voting, particularly in these Republican areas of south Georgia and north Georgia, is coming on like no tomorrow,” Towery said. “So right now, Georgia is looking pretty good for Trump.”
As far as Pennsylvania and Nevada, Towery said it was too close to call because neither state was in the pocket of either campaign.
A Real Clear Politics poll average from Wednesday afternoon showed Harris has a slight 1.1-point lead.
