Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Announce New Netflix Series Featuring Leftists Greta Thunberg, Gloria Steinem, Jacinda Ardern

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have another Netflix release coming out in December, but this time they’re focusing on “leaders.”

The royal couple made headlines for their six-part documentary series “Harry & Meghan,” which debuted on the streaming platform earlier this month. The limited series delved into the couple’s personal life and struggle with the royal family.

That’s not what “Live to Lead” is about, though. The newest docuseries was produced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex via their company Archewell Productions. It will highlight a roster of “leaders” who are “committed to making a difference in the world.”

An official synopsis of the series says it will showcase “the fundamental values, daily disciplines and guiding principles that leaders employ to motivate others and create meaningful change.”

Most of the participants are avid leftists.

“This was inspired by Nelson Mandela, who once said ‘What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived,’” Prince Harry says in the newly-released trailer. Meghan agrees, saying, “It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”

“To fight for change and to become leaders,” she continues as Prince Harry chimes in, “And giving inspiration to the rest of us. To live, to lead.”

The seven-part series includes interviews with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, social justice attorney and advocate Bryan Stevenson, the late U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, climate activist Greta Thunberg, South Africa’s national rugby union team captain and social inequality activist Siya Kolisi, feminist activist Gloria Steinem, and Albie Sachs, an anti-apartheid activist and former judge at the Constitutional Court of South Africa.

“Live to Lead” was created and directed by Geoff Blackwell, author of the book series “I Know This to Be True.”

This new project is being announced as reviews for “Harry & Meghan” were mixed. Many British publications accused the couple of being narcissistic and attention-seeking after quitting the royal family to allegedly pursue a more private existence.

“What I mainly took away was the sense of a couple so in love with themselves that they had lost any semblance of self-awareness,” The Times wrote of the docuseries.

The Guardian wrote that it was “a one-sided PR effort with no critical or dissenting voices about the couple’s behavior or any tough questioning.”

“Live to Lead” will be a bit different as it’s not focused on the royal couple, but just being promoted by them.
