Prince Harry Discloses Genitalia Frostbite In Tell-All Book ‘Spare’
Prince Harry reportedly disclosed in his new tell-all book “Spare” that he was suffering from a “frostbitten” penis during Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011.
In the royal’s new memoir, accidentally sold in Spain ahead of its official release on January 10, the Duke of Sussex reportedly revealed that his cheeks, ears, and genitalia became frostbitten during his trek that year to the North Pole, the Daily Mail reported.
In March 2011, Harry headed out on a 200-mile expedition to the Arctic alongside four ex-servicemen who were injured in Afghanistan.

The duke reportedly shared in the book that while his frostbitten ears and cheeks healed quickly, the same wasn’t true for a certain appendage injury, and he said it was still affecting him when he attended his brother’s royal nuptials in April 2011.
The prince also reportedly credited using a certain cream, recommended by a friend, with helping to heal his injured private part, according to translated excerpts of the autobiography seen by the Daily Mail.
The U.K. National Health Service noted that as frostbitten skin heals, it can become cracked and dry out, the outlet noted. It also said the afflicted area can take six months to recover.
Frostbite happens when the skin is exposed to extreme temperatures below zero degrees Celsius, or 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
The royal also reportedly sought discreet medical attention from a doctor, after worrying he might have to have part of the penis removed in a partial penectomy, the outlet noted. However, the doctor reportedly told him the “most feasible cure was time.”
During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, skier Remi Lindholm suffered a similar injury, with the Daily Mail report noting that it wasn’t Lindholm’s first time dealing with frostbite on his nether regions.
“You can guess which body part was a little bit frozen when I finished [the men’s Olympic 50km race] … it was one of the worst competitions I’ve been in. It was just about battling through,” Lindholm told Finnish media.
A year earlier, the Finish skier dealt with the painful injury during a race in Ruka, Finland.
“The pain was unbearable,” Lindholm told the press after the race.
