Pro-Choice Crazies Interrupt Justices Amid Arguments
During the start of Supreme Court oral arguments Wednesday, three women visiting the high court stood up and voiced opposition to the summer decision overturning Roe v. Wade.
The public is once again allowed to attend oral argument periods following the high court’s nearly two-year closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The women were seated near the back of the courtroom when one of them stood up, saying, “I respectfully rise to denounce Dobbs,” the June 24 ruling allowing states to make laws severely limiting or restricting abortion.
“Women, vote!” the first woman said before she was escorted away by courtroom security.
You can hear protesters inside the Supreme Court this morning say “the right to choose will not be taken away. Women …” but then the feed cuts out. I suspect the person who controls audio inside the courtroom simply cut the feed. pic.twitter.com/sCzgeFaz2S

All three women were promptly escorted out of the courtroom and did not resist. None of the nine justices appeared to acknowledge the protesters.
The demonstration comes less than one week ahead of the Nov. 8 midterm elections. The justices were hearing a case on Wednesday regarding the scope of the Bank Secrecy Act.
