Pro-DeSantis super PAC plans $25M ad buy in Iowa & New Hampshire.

The Race⁣ for 2024: DeSantis Super PAC Plans Multimillion-Dollar Ad Buy

The ⁢excitement is building as the super PAC supporting ‍Gov. ⁣Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) potential presidential bid in⁤ 2024 gears up ⁢for a major ad ‍campaign. With just five months ⁤until the crucial Iowa Republican caucuses, Never Back Down,⁤ the super PAC, is preparing to make a splash in Iowa and New Hampshire ‌with a ‍multimillion-dollar fall ad buy.

Coming off of what Never Back Down considers a strong Republican National‍ Committee debate performance by ‌DeSantis, it is preparing a $25 million television ⁢ad buy in the two states. The TV spots will be ‌purchased to ⁤run between ‍Labor Day and Halloween.

The initial $13 million ‍in ad reservations ‌is expected to be placed as soon as Friday, with additional ad⁤ purchases planned for ‍New⁣ Hampshire. As the fall season begins, the total ad buy could increase further as the ‌PAC analyzes the‍ impact of previous ads, some ‌of which have been running since April.

The news of these ⁣anticipated ad⁢ purchases, as reported by the Washington Post, comes hot on the heels of the RNC debate. Following the event, DeSantis’s campaign experienced a surge in donations, raising over $1 million in just 24 hours. “People were very happy and excited by his showing,” said Hal Lambert, a DeSantis ‍surrogate and the CEO of Point Bridge Capital, in an interview with ABC News.

Furthermore, a recent Washington Post / FiveThirtyEight / Ipsos poll conducted immediately after the debate revealed that DeSantis was declared the winner by ⁣surveyed Republican voters, with 29% stating⁤ he performed the best.‌ Vivek Ramaswamy⁣ came in‍ second with 26%.

However, DeSantis faces a challenge in the form of former President Donald Trump, who did⁣ not participate‍ in the ‍debate. According to the RealClearPolitics polling average, DeSantis ‌currently holds second place in both Iowa and ⁤New Hampshire among primary voters, with 17% and 13% support, ⁤respectively. ⁣Trump, on the other hand, maintains a strong⁣ lead with 43% and 44% support ⁤in those states.

Tim Scott’s Super⁤ PAC Also Makes Moves

It’s⁤ not just DeSantis making waves in the ad buying arena. Sen. Tim Scott’s (R-SC) ‍super PAC, Trust in the⁤ Mission or TIMPAC, was the first to reserve fall airtime earlier‍ this month.⁣ TIMPAC has secured a $40 million reservation for TV and digital ads throughout the fall, targeting ⁣Iowa, New Hampshire, and South ⁢Carolina, where⁢ some of the earliest caucuses and primaries will take place⁣ in 2024.

Exciting ⁢times lie ⁢ahead as ‍the battle for the 2024 presidential race intensifies. Stay tuned for more updates!
