A rising number of Americans have expressed support for the jailed January 6 protesters by arguing they have been wrongfully persecuted for their political views. According to the Daily Caller, protests were ongoing onside the prison in Washington D.C., where January 6 activists have been held.
This comes after attorneys revealed arrested protestors were subjected to torture and inhumane conditions. Demonstrators argued detained activists have been denied their constitutional rights.
“Half of the guys that are sitting in there right now are well decorated military veterans,” one individual explained. “…Those are guys that went and sacrificed for this country and the very country they sacrificed and gained so much for is now treating them like terrorists.”

Meanwhile, mainstream media and Democrat officials fail to address these protests as they continue to push back against conservatives.
