Psaki enjoys Trump’s indictment: Justice keeps moving.
MSNBC Host Jen Psaki Recaps Donald Trump’s Legal Cases with a Smile
On her show Sunday, MSNBC host Jen Psaki dedicated a segment to providing an engaging recap of Donald Trump’s ongoing legal cases. With a smile on her face, Psaki praised the Department of Justice (DOJ) for their diligent work, highlighting that “the justice system is always working,” even if we can’t always see it.
Psaki specifically mentioned the recent additional charges brought against Trump, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations. The DOJ issued new federal charges, accusing Trump of mishandling classified documents and destroying security footage at his Mar-a-Lago home. These charges, along with others, have brought the total number of indictments against Trump to a staggering 40.
Republican Candidates Push Boundaries in Criticizing Trump
As a former member of the Joe Biden White House Press team, Psaki provided a lively summary of the latest updates on Trump’s legal battles. She couldn’t help but gloat about reports suggesting that the Trump campaign has spent approximately $40 million in legal fees.
“Even when it might not feel like it, or we can’t necessarily see it, the justice system is always working,” Psaki confidently stated on her show, Inside with Jen Psaki. She acknowledged that the wheels of justice may turn slowly at times, but they are constantly working to hold people accountable.
Psaki even went as far as to compare some of the updates to a “mob-like” atmosphere. Since March of this year, she has hosted her own Sunday show, coinciding with the initial indictments against Trump.
However, despite the legal challenges, it seems that Trump’s campaign has only grown stronger. Prior to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s indictment of Trump on 34 counts of falsifying business records, there were 15 points separating Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Trump. However, since the indictment in April, Trump’s lead has surged to 30 points and has remained steady.
Trump’s next court appearance is scheduled for May of next year.
