The FBI Joins the Frantic Search for Missing 9-Year-Old Charlotte Sena
The search for 9-year-old Charlotte Sena, who went missing on Saturday evening in a state park in upstate New York, has intensified with the involvement of the FBI.
“The child was taken under circumstances that lead police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious harm and/or death,” the Amber Alert said Sunday morning.
Charlotte disappeared after going on a solo bike ride at Moreau Lake State Park, located about 45 miles north of Albany.
The @nyspolice say 9-year-old Charlotte Sena was last seen at Moreau Lake State Park, Loop A, Site 18, in Gansevoort, NY at about 6:45 PM on 9/30/2023.

The search effort, which includes the use of drones and bloodhounds, has been joined by the FBI, as reported by CBS News.

Experts in public safety, such as Michael Kopy and John Miller, have highlighted the use of advanced technologies and investigative techniques in the search for Charlotte.
Authorities have urged the public to stay away from the closed park, and friends and family have been asked to wait for further instructions from the police.
Concerns about Charlotte’s safety have led to an expanded search area that extends to western Massachusetts and southwest Vermont.
WBTS-TV reports that police in western Massachusetts are actively monitoring for any signs of the missing girl.
