The two injured have been transported to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition, police officials said in a press conference. One other person was injured after being hit by a car while fleeing the scene, and the extent of that person’s injuries is also not clear, according to the New York Post.
At least five people have been arrested so far, and one police officer fired their gun, hitting a small child who now has an arm fracture and is recovering, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Kevin Bethel. A total of five guns were seized by the Philadelphia Police Department as a result of the incident.
Multiple people have been reported injured in a shooting at a Ramadan event in Philadelphia, where residents were celebrating Eid al-Fitr, the end of the holy month.

The incident occurred near the Philadelphia Masjid mosque and the Sister Clara Muhammad School, according to FOX 29, during an Eid al Fitr event, which commemorates the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The day is usually celebrated with a feast and festival.
Multiple children were also separated from their families during the shooting, but event officials have established a reunification area.
A New York county official has ordered more police presence at mosques in Nassau County after the shooting in Philadelphia.

“Although there is no direct threat to Nassau County due to the shootings in Philadelphia, I have ordered increased patrols around Mosques throughout the County to protect our residents,” Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman said in a statement. “’The public is reminded to call 911 immediately if they see or hear anything threatening or suspicious.”
