Ramaswamy proposed mandatory ‘Electronic At-Home Voting’ to fight election fraud.
Republican Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s Vision for Voting Reform
Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has proposed an innovative and controversial idea for transforming the voting system in the United States. Before launching his presidential campaign, Ramaswamy advocated for an entirely electronic, remote, and mandatory voting system.
Following the 2020 presidential election, Ramaswamy took to social media to promote his idea of “electronic at-home voting.” He argued that this approach could effectively reduce fraud and eliminate voter suppression. In a tweet, he suggested a universal system where every adult citizen would receive one ballot per Social Security Number, even allowing for blank ballots if desired. Ramaswamy emphasized that this system would not only prevent fraud but also increase civic engagement.
Electronic at-home voting. Make it universal; submit a blank ballot if you want. One per SSN for every adult citizen. No ballot fraud. No voter suppression. No wasted money on “get-out-the-vote.” Most importantly: greater civic engagement. Thoughts?

Ramaswamy further expressed his desire to make this voting system mandatory. He believed that by implementing such a system, the nation could ensure the integrity of elections and eliminate any doubts surrounding the legitimacy of the results.
I’m suggesting making it mandatory.

However, Ramaswamy’s past remarks have resurfaced after a recent interview with NBC News, where he presented a different reform plan. In this interview, he proposed “single-day voting on Election Day,” “paper ballots,” and “government-issued ID matching the voter file.” This shift in his stance has raised questions and garnered attention.
Former Vice President Mike Pence’s presidential campaign responded to Ramaswamy’s remarks, highlighting the inconsistencies between his recent statements and his previous book, “Nation of Victims.” In the book, Ramaswamy praised Pence for his actions on January 6, 2021, during the Capitol riot and expressed his belief that the election was not stolen.
Ramaswamy’s campaign later released a statement addressing the criticism and clarifying his election integrity platform. The campaign emphasized that Ramaswamy advocates for a practical solution to address concerns about election security and aims to lead the nation towards accepting election results without questioning their outcomes.
