‘Reality Has Set In’: Majority Of Firms See Resistance From Employees Who Do Not Want Remote Work To End

Some of the country’s most prominent companies, especially in the technology sector, have reacted negatively to the return to more traditional work arrangements. Amazon is one example. David Bahnsen (the founder of The Bahnsen Group in Manhattan) stated in an interview with The Daily Wire, that executives don’t believe that having large numbers of remote workers is a good thing for their companies.

“The actions by companies speak for themselves: employees are not more productive at home, and the loss of accountability, firm culture, organic mentorship and training, and general team chemistry has been disastrous,” Bahnsen remarked. “Many large-company CEOs have told me even with hybrid work they have effectively created three or four day weekends every week for employees.”

Employers can face significant costs when they use remote work. According to A.T., 85% of managers feel that hybrid work has reduced their employees’ productivity. Study Microsoft. “There was a ‘shiny object’ flirtation with this work-from-home element that many company leaders bought into for a time, but reality has set in and the inherent benefits of employees working together in the office has become undeniable for all,” Bahnsen added that he believes more companies will abandon remote work arrangements in the future.
