GOP Rep. Ken Buck Faces Eviction Notice After Voting Against Jordan for Speaker
Republican Representative Ken Buck of Colorado has revealed that he received an eviction notice from his landlord after refusing to support Ohio Representative Jim Jordan’s bid for Speaker of the House. Buck spoke about the backlash he has faced during an appearance on NBC News’ “Meet the Press Now.” He disclosed that he has received death threats and has been evicted from his office in Colorado due to his voting record on the speaker issue. Buck emphasized that he is not alone in facing these challenges, as other members of the conference are also experiencing similar harassment.

Jordan faced another setback as he lost a third vote for speaker. Buck was among the 25 Republicans who did not support Jordan. Instead, Buck voted for House Majority Whip Tom Emmer. The lease for Buck’s Colorado office was terminated due to his efforts to block Jordan from becoming the speaker. Four other GOP representatives also reported receiving death threats for backing candidates other than Jordan.
The Republican conference ultimately decided to halt Jordan’s bid for the speakership nomination. Texas GOP Representative Chip Roy expressed his disagreement with this decision, calling it a ”mistake” for the party. Buck, who previously voted to oust California Representative Kevin McCarthy as speaker, finds himself in the midst of a contentious battle within the Republican party.
A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:
I walked into the office one morning and noticed something strange. Half of The Western Journal’s readership was missing.
It had finally happened. Facebook had flipped THE switch.
Maybe it was because we wrote about ivermectin. Or election integrity. Or the Jan. 6 detainees. Or ballot mules.
Whatever the reason, I immediately knew what to do. We had to turn to you because, frankly, we know you are the only ones we can trust.
Can you help? Every donation to The Western Journal goes directly to funding our team of story researchers, writers and editors who doggedly pursue the truth and expose the corrupt elites.
Can I count on you for a small donation? We operate on a shoestring compared to other news media companies, so I can personally promise that not a penny of your donation will be wasted.
We will use every single cent to fight against the lies and corruption in high places. And as long as we have your help, we will never give up.
Sincerely,

How have other members of the Republican conference been affected by their decision not to support Jordan?
GOP Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado has found himself in a difficult situation after receiving an eviction notice from his landlord. The reason behind this eviction notice? Buck’s refusal to support Ohio Representative Jim Jordan’s bid for Speaker of the House. Buck spoke about the backlash he has faced during an appearance on NBC News’ “Meet the Press Now.” Not only has he received death threats, but he has also been evicted from his office in Colorado due to his voting record on the speaker issue. Unfortunately, Buck is not alone in facing these challenges, as other members of the conference are also experiencing similar harassment.
In a recent vote for speaker, Jordan faced yet another setback as he lost for the third time. Buck was among the 25 Republicans who did not support Jordan, instead casting his vote for House Majority Whip Tom Emmer. As a consequence of his efforts to block Jordan from becoming the speaker, the lease for Buck’s Colorado office was terminated. Four other GOP representatives also reported receiving death threats for backing candidates other than Jordan.
Ultimately, the Republican conference decided to halt Jordan’s bid for the speakership nomination. However, Texas GOP Representative Chip Roy expressed his disagreement with this decision, describing it as a mistake for the party. Buck, who previously voted to oust California Representative Kevin McCarthy as speaker, now finds himself in the midst of a contentious battle within the Republican party.
In conclusion, the repercussions faced by Ken Buck serve as a reminder of the intense political climate that exists in today’s society. It is disheartening to witness the harassment and threats that elected officials are subjected to simply for expressing their opinions and exercising their right to vote. Hopefully, the Republican party can find a way to navigate these internal conflicts and focus on the issues that truly matter to the American people.
