REPLAY 10 AM ET: The Committee on the Present Danger: China—Why We Must Leave the WHO

On March 7, the Committee on the Present Danger hosted a webinar on the potential powers of the World Health Organization (WHO) and it was held by the Committee on the Present Danger.

The United States and the WHO member countries have been discussing ways to give Tedros Ghebreyesus vast new powers. Tedros would have the ability to declare any current or potential outbreaks of pandemics through material amendments to existing international health regulations. “public health emergencies of international concern” Any country, on the basis private information and without the consent of the nation(s).
