Abe Hamadeh, a former contender⁢ for the position of Arizona’s attorney general, has announced his candidacy for the‌ 8th Congressional District ⁤in Arizona.

At just 32 years old, Hamadeh wasted no time in declaring his candidacy for Congress after Representative Debbie Lesko (R-Ariz.) announced she⁢ would not seek re-election.

Hamadeh took to X, the social media platform formerly known ⁤as Twitter, to declare his‍ support for former‍ President Donald‌ Trump and his commitment to making America great again.

Former President Trump has ‍endorsed‍ Hamadeh’s candidacy for attorney general and is expected to extend his support for Hamadeh’s congressional campaign.

Hamadeh previously ran for attorney general against Kris Mayes, the current Attorney General, and narrowly lost by less than 300 votes. He made an unsuccessful attempt⁣ to overturn ‌the election⁣ results in the Arizona Supreme Court.

Local media reports indicate that Hamadeh⁢ has‌ been ordered to pay Mayes over $42,000 in legal fees related to the dispute.

As‍ the‍ first candidate to declare his bid for Lesko’s congressional⁤ seat, Hamadeh is poised to secure the position ‍in the ⁤district, which leans conservative.

However, all eyes will be⁢ on Arizona in⁢ the upcoming election year, as the state has become a crucial swing state in recent election cycles.
