Kari Lake believes RFK Jr. as a third-party candidate will hinder Democratic cheating.

Former GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is anticipating an exciting twist in the upcoming 2024 presidential race. She believes that the potential entry of a third-party ⁢candidate, such as Robert F. Kennedy ⁤Jr., will make it much harder ‌for candidates to “cheat” their way ‍to victory.

Ms. Lake’s remarks came in response to RFK Jr.’s recent suggestion that‍ he may explore “other alternatives” instead of solely pursuing⁣ a⁢ Democratic nomination.

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering ⁢running as a third-party candidate,” Ms. Lake revealed during an interview on “The Clay ‍Travis ⁢& Buck Sexton ‍Show” ⁢on Sept. 9. “Having‍ three parties in the ⁣race, whether it’s for the senate seat ⁣in Arizona or the presidency, will make‍ it incredibly challenging for anyone‌ to manipulate the outcome. They‍ won’t know⁤ what surprises await them inside the‌ ballot. A Democrat voter might choose to vote independent this time around to support RFK Jr.”

“So, I think we’re going to see some exciting dynamics in this election that will make it ⁣much harder for any‌ cheating to occur.‌ We will also work through the ⁤court system to ensure that cheating becomes even more ⁢difficult,” Ms. Lake emphasized.

Mr. Kennedy expressed ⁢his⁣ thoughts in a Sept. 8 interview with Forbes, stating ‌that he might explore “alternatives”⁢ instead of solely focusing on ‌the 2024 presidential ‌race ‌as ‍a ‌Democrat.

“It’s quite evident that the DNC (Democratic National Committee)⁣ is not interested in⁣ a primary. I don’t want to‍ say they want a coronation, but⁣ it⁤ seems that way. ‍They⁣ are ⁣manipulating the process to the point⁣ where democracy struggles to function.⁤ Democratic voters are being denied a choice‍ in determining the Democratic nominee,” Mr. Kennedy explained.

Mr. Kennedy revealed that the DNC has implemented rules that nullify any votes cast for ⁢Democratic candidates campaigning in Iowa or New Hampshire.

“In other words, ⁤any delegate I win in New Hampshire or Iowa would automatically ‍go to the president. Now they’re attempting to change the rules so that if ⁣I campaign in ‍New Hampshire, none of the votes cast for me in Georgia will count. This is ‍significant because winning the nomination without Georgia becomes extremely difficult,” Mr. Kennedy pointed out.

According to him, ‍the ⁢DNC is “rigging” the system.

“When you add up all the super delegates ⁢they control and all⁣ the automatic delegates that go to the party and the president, I ‍would have to win almost 80 percent of all ‍states to defeat President Biden, ⁢even if he only wins 20 percent,” Mr.⁢ Kennedy revealed.

Furthermore, the ⁢DNC is considering making RFK Jr. and other Democratic candidates, like Marianne Williamson, pay ⁤for primaries. ⁤Their reasoning ‍is that ⁢the party doesn’t require a‍ primary since they already have President Biden as their candidate,‌ according to‍ Mr. Kennedy.

“We are living in a time when many ⁢Americans believe that‍ democracy is‌ broken, that the political system is rigged, ⁢and that true democracy no longer ‍exists. Unfortunately, the DNC’s actions only reinforce this perception,” Mr. Kennedy lamented.

“If the DNC is determined to rig the system to prevent anyone from challenging President Biden… I need to explore ⁤other alternatives.”

The Third Candidate

The possibility of Mr. Kennedy running as a third-party candidate could spell trouble for the Democratic Party,‌ as he is the second most‍ popular ⁢figure among Democrats in the race, right ⁤after President Biden.

According ⁤to opinion poll analysis firm FiveThirtyEight, President ⁣Biden currently enjoys‍ the ⁤support of ⁣65.8‌ percent⁣ of voters ‍in the Democratic ‌primaries, with ‍Mr. Kennedy coming in⁢ second at 12.3 percent, ‌as of Sept. 8.

A recent poll commissioned by ‍American Values 2024, a⁢ SuperPAC supporting ‍Mr. Kennedy, revealed that in⁤ a ⁤two-way match between RFK Jr. and ‌President Biden,‍ the former received 41 percent⁤ support in ⁣New Hampshire, while the latter secured 49⁢ percent.

In⁣ a⁤ three-way poll involving President Biden, Mr. ⁤Kennedy, and Ms.‌ Williamson, President Biden maintained his position with 31 percent support, compared ‍to President⁤ Biden’s 46 ⁣percent.

The‍ reason‍ why a third-party candidate like RFK⁢ Jr. poses a ‌threat to ‌Democrats is that he could potentially siphon off votes from ⁣President Biden in crucial races, which could work in favor of former President Donald Trump.

RFK Jr. could also ⁣create a scenario where no presidential candidate manages ‌to secure the necessary 270 electoral votes for victory. In such a situation, the state delegations in the House would⁢ determine the winner of ⁤the presidential election. This could also benefit President Trump, as Republicans currently hold the majority in the House.

In addition ‍to RFK ‍Jr., there is another alternative that could disrupt the 2024 presidential race.
