Robert Kennedy Jr. Alienates Big-Money Donors, Raises Small Amount for Campaign

Democratic presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. reveals that his campaign has raised less than $4 million so far. In a video released on Tuesday, Kennedy Jr. acknowledges that he has alienated every big-money donor, yet he continues to poll at around 20 percent among Democratic voters.

Kennedy, the son of former Attorney General and Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, emphasizes that his focus has been on getting his message out to the people rather than fundraising. As a result, his campaign has failed to attract support from big-money donors in both the Democratic and Republican parties.

Instead, Kennedy has been utilizing social media and podcasts to connect with his audience. He appeals to potential donors, urging them to contribute between June 27 and July 1, as those donations will have a significant impact on his campaign.

Podcast Controversy and Call for Declassified Information

Last week, Kennedy’s campaign made headlines when podcast host Joe Rogan challenged vaccine scientist Peter Hotez to a debate with Kennedy to raise money for charity. However, Hotez declined the invitation after sharing a critical Vice News article about a previous Rogan-Kennedy podcast episode discussing childhood vaccines.

Prior to that, Kennedy called on President Joe Biden to release declassified information regarding the assassination of his uncle, former President John F. Kennedy. Kennedy believes that the CIA was likely involved, despite the agency’s consistent denial of any involvement in the 1963 tragedy.

Running Against Biden

In April, Kennedy, also known as RFK Jr., announced his candidacy as a Democrat, challenging President Joe Biden. However, Biden has not acknowledged Kennedy’s campaign, and it remains uncertain if he will address it in the future.
