RFK Jr. suggests he will have a role in a Trump administration – Washington Examiner
Former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has indicated that he may play a role in a potential second administration under Donald Trump. After suspending his own presidential campaign in August, Kennedy endorsed Trump and began promoting a campaign theme of “Make America Healthy Again.” Speaking outside the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C., Kennedy shared his vision for revitalizing American agriculture and health, emphasizing the need for systemic changes to benefit farmers and public health.
Kennedy mentioned that he has discussed potential policy ideas with Trump, and the former president has acknowledged Kennedy’s endorsement. At a rally, Trump hinted at the possibility of Kennedy having a significant position in his administration. Specifically, discussions have included a potential Cabinet position in the Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees various health agencies.
The Trump campaign has described discussions about administration roles as “premature,” but Kennedy’s presence on Trump’s transition team suggests he is being considered for an influential role should Trump win the upcoming election.

Former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suggested he would have a role in a second Trump administration.
Kennedy, an anti-vaccine proponent and environmental lawyer, recently launched his own take on the “Make America Great Again” campaign with “Make America Healthy Again.” In August, Kennedy suspended his presidential campaign and endorsed former President Donald Trump.
Speaking outside the Department of Agriculture headquarters in Washington, D.C., Kennedy listed off a series of policy ideas he had for the food industry.
“When Donald Trump gets me inside the building I’m standing outside of right now, it won’t be this way anymore. American agriculture will come roaring back, and so will American health,” Kennedy said in a video he posted Monday.
When @realDonaldTrump gets me inside the USDA, we’re going to give farmers an off-ramp from the current system that destroys soil, makes people sick, and harms family farms.

The Trump campaign has said discussions of who would actually serve in a second Trump administration are “premature.” Trump himself, however, has praised Kennedy after he received the endorsement and hinted at a role for him in the administration.
“We will make America healthy again. You know who’s going to do that? RFK Jr. He’s got some good ideas,” Trump said at a recent rally in Reading, Pennsylvania. Kennedy is also on Trump’s transition team, should he win the November election.
Kennedy’s campaign told the HBO show Last Week Tonight in August that Trump and Kennedy had discussed “the possibility of a Cabinet position — HHS,” which is the Department of Health and Human Services that oversees the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and the National Institutes of Health, among other agencies.
Some science experts worry about Kennedy in this type of role due to his role in spreading false information about vaccines, as well as conspiracy theories about new technology such as 5G. Vaccines prevent as many as 5 million deaths each year and have saved 154 million lives over the past 50 years, according to the World Health Organization.
When Kennedy suspended his presidential campaign this summer, he urged his supporters in swing states to vote for Trump.
