The Republican National Committee has claimed they may not participate in future network television debates following their calls on the Commission on Presidential Debates to make significant changes. The commission has been slammed by the RNC on their selection of debate moderators as well as last minutes schedule changes of previous debates.

According to Citizens United President David Bossie, Republicans don’t need to count on the networks and have many platforms to get the message out. He also suggested GOP presidential primary debates to be moved from network television altogether.

He went on to say, “we don’t want bad actors to infiltrate our debate process.”

This come after RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel submitted a letter to the commission calling on them to make the requested changes. She referenced the debate between Joe Biden and President Trump, accusing the Commission on Presidential Debates of favoring the Democratic candidate.

Many conservatives, including 45th President Trump, have continued their claims of a clear bias against Republicans by the Commission on Presidential Debates.
