Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Announces 2024 Presidential Bid

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has filed the necessary paperwork to run for president of the United States in 2024 as a Democrat. Known for his work in environmental law and vaccine safety, Kennedy is the second person to announce their candidacy for the Democratic nomination, joining Marianne Williamson.

Kennedy has a campaign page that’s currently accepting donations. His campaign is centered on the message of “Freedom First” and opposes what he calls “the elites”. He aims to end the corrupt merger between state and corporate power, restore American democracy, and end toxic polarization.

Vaccine Safety Concerns

While a registered Democrat, Kennedy opposes many policies of the current administration, particularly those related to COVID-19. His non-profit, Children’s Health Defense, focuses on solving chronic health conditions caused by environmental exposures and raising awareness about harmful effects of COVID-19 vaccines.

He shared in an interview that vaccines have little to do with infectious disease mortality rate decline. He believes that decreases in mortality are due to advancements in sanitation, nutrition, transportation of food and water supply, and better sewage treatment.

Big Pharma

Kennedy believes that regulatory agencies have become captured by the industries they should regulate, especially the pharmaceutical industry. He alleges that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration receives 75% of its drug approval budget and 45% of its total budget from the pharmaceutical industry. He also notes that several CDC scientists are allowed to patent drugs, giving them $300 million in royalties. According to Kennedy, children are the CDC’s target demographic.

Thoughts on the CIA

Kennedy alleges that the CIA has become a “tumor” on the American system and a “government within our government”. He claims that the agency conducts mind control operations using techniques such as sensory deprivation, torture, fear propaganda, and authoritarian messages. This is done to influence people around the world, creating “Manchurian Candidates”.

He proposed implementing a separate oversight body for the CIA. According to Kennedy, the agency conducts covert operations in various countries such as assassinating leaders and manipulating elections.
