Gov. Ron DeSantis Gains 35 More Endorsements in ‌South ‍Carolina

Gov. Ron ‌DeSantis’s (R-FL) presidential campaign⁤ announced on Wednesday that it has secured an additional 35⁣ endorsements from lawmakers and local leaders⁢ in South Carolina.

The new⁣ endorsements join ⁢the 15 he had previously received from state legislators ahead of his South Carolina campaign stop ⁤in late June, bringing⁣ his total⁤ endorsements in the ⁤state to‌ an impressive 50. The latest additions include Rep. Joe Bustos (R-SC), two sheriffs, several county council members and county clerks, six school board members, and five former officials, as reported by Fox⁢ Carolina.

Forward-Looking Vision for South Carolina and the Nation

“Governor DeSantis has a forward-looking​ vision to ⁤reverse the decline of this‍ nation ⁢and get our‍ economy back on track for⁢ working families in South Carolina and across the country,” Bustos said. ‌”As a fellow veteran, Ron DeSantis uniquely understands the service and sacrifice of our military, veterans, and their ‌families, and ​I am proud to endorse​ him to be the next commander-in-chief and president of the United⁢ States.”

With ⁤a total of 275 endorsements ‍from state legislators nationwide, Governor ‍DeSantis’s support continues to grow. The 50 endorsements from South Carolina will prove valuable as ​the state is among​ the⁤ first to ⁤vote in​ the Republican primaries.

A ⁢Proven Leader for the American People

“Governor DeSantis is a leader who delivered the ⁤most conservative agenda in the nation in⁣ Florida, cutting taxes, providing‍ economic relief for working families, protecting personal freedoms, supporting law enforcement, and fighting for parents’ rights,” said Tega⁤ Cay Mayor ‍Pro Temp Tom Hyslip. “As president of the ‌United States, he will get ‍the⁣ job done and deliver those same results for the American people.”

DeSantis’s previous endorsements⁣ in South Carolina‌ came from 11 state House representatives and⁤ four ⁤state senators.
