Ron Perlman Calls Ron DeSantis A ‘Nazi Pig’ While Proving He Didn’t Read The Parental Rights In Education Bill

Ron Perlman is known for his outspoken opinions on a variety of topics, but his latest open rant against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) calls into question his reading skills.

The “Sons of Anarchy” alum made a video of himself talking about HB 1557, Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, which DeSantis signed into law Wednesday. Critics have erroneously dubbed it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill despite those words not appearing in the text or having anything to do with the aim. In reality, HB 1557 restricts classroom discussions on gender identity and sexual orientation for children in kindergarten through third grade.

Within a few seconds, Perlman makes it clear that he’s only read about the bill but hasn’t bothered to research the specifics. The tweet caption simply says, “Dear Governor DeSantis…”

“Good morning, Governor DeSantis,” Perlman begins with a leering smile. “Ron here. Um, don’t say gay? Don’t say… as the first two words of a sentence spoken by a political leader of a state in the United States of America? Don’t say gay? Don’t f***ing say gay you f***ing Nazi pig? Say. First Amendment. Read about it. Then run for office. You piece of s***.”

The comments were flooded with followers instructing Perlman to read the bill before making sweeping accusations.

“You are literally too stupid to insult,” Ben Shapiro wrote

“Ron Perlman is a great example on why the electoral college is important,” one person shared.

“Dear Mr. Perlman, Two comments: 1) please read the bill and hopefully this will assuage your concerns; 2) please reacquaint yourself with the notion of civility.  You can make your points without the curse words.  Cheers. [I’ll retweet as well.]” Gad Saad wrote in reply

This wasn’t Perlman’s first video rant. The 71-year-old actor went viral for a similar Twitter post targeting Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) last week during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Ketanji Brown Jackson. Perlman believed Cruz was too hard on Brown Jackson when questioning her about sentencing for people convicted of child pornography possession.

“Hi Ted, Ron here. Listen, I know how tempting it is to appeal to the real lowest form of humanity here in the United States, the bottom feeders, people who pride themselves on hatred and uneducation and inability to read and inability to understand the difference between true patriotism and the bulls*** you’re selling,” Perlman said in the video.

“I know how tempting it is to play to those people,” Perlman continued. “Because at least you have a base, but Jesus Christ Ted, for somebody with a really, really small d***, you get to be a bigger prick every f***ing day. Go f*** yourself.”
