Tass cited the defense ministry as saying that an accidental discharge of air weapons occurred as a Sukhoi Su – 34 air force aircraft was flying over the place of Belgorod.

What kind of artillery was involved was not specified.

According to Tass, the government reported that some buildings had been damaged and that a investigation was already underway.

Since the beginning of what Moscow refers to as its” special military operation” in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, bombs have rocked targets like fuel and weapons stores in the Belgorod region, among other areas of southern Russia.
