Samsung and Tesla Discuss Future Cooperation in High-Tech Industries

Last Wednesday, Samsung Electronics Executive Chairman Jay Y. Lee met with Tesla CEO Elon Musk to discuss potential collaboration in the development of IT-related technologies, such as semiconductors for autonomous vehicles.

The meeting, which took place during Lee’s trip to the United States, marked the first time the heads of the South Korean chip giant and the U.S. electric-vehicle maker had met. Samsung stated that the two companies are currently exploring ways to work together in future high-tech industries.
