SeaWorld ticket holders impacted by severe weather can now enjoy a complimentary return visit.
SeaWorld’s “Weather-or-Not” Assurance Policy
SeaWorld, with locations in five states across the United States, including San Diego in California, is offering an exciting deal for ticket holders affected by extreme weather conditions throughout the year. Introducing the new and generous “Weather-or-Not” assurance policy, SeaWorld allows those impacted to come back for free.
The policy, described as the most generous in the theme park industry, covers a wide range of weather conditions, including extreme heat, rain, lightning, wind, snow, and hail.
From ride closures lasting over one hour to flight issues or park closures due to weather, SeaWorld is now offering a chance to return to the park within 12 months at no charge.
“When guests book and look forward to making memories in one of our SeaWorld parks, we want them to feel fully assured that if Mother Nature winds up having other plans that day—even if for as little as an hour—they will be able to come back another day, on us,” said Marisa Thalberg, chief marketing and communications officer of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment.
The policy applies to SeaWorld parks across the country.
To receive the deal, impacted ticket holders must go to Guest Services at the park on the day of their ticket or fill out an online form with their order number within a week of their originally planned visit.
