Secret Service refuses FOIA request on cocaine due to specific reasons.
The Secret Service Refuses to Disclose Information on White House Cocaine Discovery
The Secret Service is making headlines for its refusal to comply with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests regarding the recent cocaine discovery in the White House. This decision has raised eyebrows and sparked speculation about the potential implications.
Investigative reporter Jason Leopold from Bloomberg Business received a letter from the Secret Service stating that the requested information cannot be disclosed as it may “interfere with enforcement proceedings.” Leopold shared the letter on Twitter, expressing his frustration with the lack of transparency.

The Secret Service’s letter to Leopold stated, “This is the final response to your recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request… for information pertaining to the cocaine found in the West Wing of the White House.” It regretfully informed him that compliance was not possible, citing the “foreseeable harm” standard and the potential interference with enforcement proceedings.
Despite the lack of official information, speculation continues to swirl about the origins of the cocaine. While some media outlets avoid linking it to President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, who has a history of drug abuse, others suggest it would have been highly unlikely for anyone outside the family to bring it into the White House.
Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino emphasized this point, stating, “There’s absolutely ZERO chance anyone other than a family member brought that cocaine inside the White House complex. No chance that would make it past the mag/security checkpoints. Family bypasses those.”
