Secretive Left-Wing Nonprofit “State Voices” Made 140 Million Voter Contacts in 2022 – Three Times as Much as the RNC
The Republican National Committee (RNC), formed in September 2018, two months before the 2022 elections. Announcement That the committee had “surpassed another historic milestone: over 50 million voter contacts made cycle-to-date.” In January State VoicesThe nonprofit coordinating left-leaning activist groups across the country, titled. A similar statement is also possible.
The State Voices network was established in 2022. 140 Million Contacts for voters “including 1.9 million calls, 34.5 million texts, and over 1 million doors, and 90 million contacts over mail via Voter Participation Center.” They also reported that they registered 820,000 voters and made 3 million voter contacts during Georgia’s Senate run-off election.
Although 140 million is clearly more than 50 million, most people are familiar with the RNC. But, not many know about State Voices. What is State Voices and who are they trying to contact so many voters?
ACORN Reborn
In the early 2000s, the most powerful left-of center nonprofit activism group was the ahref=”https://www.influencewatch.org/non-profit/acorn/”>Association Reform Now: Community OrganizationsACORN, also known as the American Council on Religion and Nationality (or ACORN) is short. The group convened protestors, organized rallies, supported ballot initiatives to change laws, and generally worked to move American politics leftward. ACORN was founded in Arkansas and grew to become a national organization through a network of state-level chapters that were led by the national head. These chapters worked hard in their states to increase support for left-leaning causes. ACORN was highly successful in reaching voters and mobilizing them, winning many victories up to its collapse in 2010 amid scandal.
State Voices is essentially today’s new and improved ACORN.
Operating in 25 statesState Voices organizes “state engagement tables” They bring together many, if no, of the most prominent left-wing activism groups within the state. The state tables organize a variety of activist groups into a single issue group and coordinate their efforts to get out-the-vote, protests, awareness campaigns, and other activities. “intersectional.” The state tables include over 1,200 activists from partner groups, thousands of employees and volunteers.
What makes State Voices so effective?
State Voices is an impressive organization.
State Voices claimed part of the credit for successful ballot measures that raised the minimum wage to Nebraska and increased taxes to Massachusetts. That’s not to mention their 140 million voter contacts and 820,000 registrations that undoubtedly impacted election results in swing states. Their successes aren’t new, either. State Voices will be launching its 2020 cycle. reported Making 124,000,000 voter contacts and registering 2 million voters.
What could a single organization do to achieve so many things?
It’s important to note that neither State Voices nor even their state engagement tables are operating alone. State Voices does not go out and do the heavy lifting. That’s up to the state-based partners. State Voices’ role is to train, equip, finance, and organize partners to boost their operations.
State Voices is a leader in securing funding. State Voices raised $8.7 million and re-granted $9.4 million to the state engagement table in 2022. State tables distribute funds to partners. This gives State Voices an opportunity to continue collaborating and ensures that State Voices has some influence as both a funder.
The money that isn’t sent to the partners is then spent on training and equipping activists with “civic tech” These tools are not normally available to small-time activists. The State Voices Tools for all Program gives partners access Catalista Democrat aligned database containing information on 240,000,000 voters; the State Voices Voter Action Network which helps manage online activism campaigns by using the Catalist database; the State Voices Data Certification Program which trains activists to become “data practitioners” Use the NGP VAN database, another of the Democratic Party’s largest voter databases. State Voices has provided training for at least 520 NGP VAN since 2017. “data practitioners.” In addition, the State Voices Tech Guide and Tools gives aspiring activist groups a full list of all the digital wizardry tools, databases, and office equipment they might need to start up a Democratic-vote-getting nonprofit of their own.
In exchange for all this, all State Voices asks for is a bit of their time and for all newly gathered voter information to be sent back up the chain to populate the Democratic Party’s all-important voter databases. That’s not merely speculation. It is a fact. 2020 annual reportState Voices boasted openly about the additions of its partners 100 million Telephone numbers to the NGP VAN data base were sold by NGP VAN, and then sold by NGP VAN directly to almost all Democratic campaigns.
An Elegant System
It’s a beautifully simple scheme. State Voices, instead of starting from scratch, created a network that rivals ACORN. They enlisted existing groups to join their ranks by providing funding and access to costly, state-of the-art tools. This work charity is called State Voices. It has cost-effectively created a larger get-out the vote empire than the RNC.
This work is not charitable, regardless of how it is described. Leaked memos Democratic super PACs (political actions committees) have confirmed that left-wing nonprofits that target minority groups with get-out-the vote policies are supported by Democratic super PACs. “4 to 10 times more cost-effective” When compared to traditional PAC expenditure, it is more effective at netting Democratic votes.
State Voices and other groups can use the tax-exempt status of billionaires dead and alive to draw on the American charitable sector and spend every penny getting people in swing states from the Democratic-favoring demographics to vote. The corruption in the nonprofit sector is obvious, but the IRS and FEC both ignore it. “representation” And “equitable” Don’t be afraid to get involved.
