Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) praised President Trump’s leadership over the Republican Party. During his speech at CPAC on Friday, Cruz told conference goers that despite efforts by the left to cancel the 45th President, Donald Trump “isn’t going anywhere.”
The senator also criticized the Biden administration’s policies, calling them “disastrous,” adding they strip away freedoms. However, Cruz claimed Joe Biden’s failures could give more Republicans success in the upcoming election cycles.
“Mark my words, 2022 is going to be a fantastic election year,” Cruz said. “So is 2024 as we stand together and defend liberty, defend the Constitution, defend the Bill of Rights of every American!”

Cruz also blasted the inconsistent scientific advice from experts amid the pandemic. He claimed some officials want people to wear masks even after vaccines are fully distributed and the community reaches herd immunity.
